"Denise, a big city girl, goes to visit her grandmother, the proprietor of the local luncheonette in a small, rural midwestern town, whom she has not seen since she was twelve. It’s a culture shock to both. Denise falls for her cousin, learns things about her mother she doesn’t know and meets Frank, the town’s homeless war veteran. Will Denise and her grandmother survive the visit?"
